Requirements

Brasenwall Professional Services - Our client is an internationally certified producer of machine tools, machine accessories, and sales of other engineering spare parts designed to serve the project, operation and maintenance needs of various industries including: construction, cement, oil and gas, transport industry to mention a few; and provider of after sales engineering support in West Africa.

They need experienced and competent manpower to fill the vacancy below from the Oil & Gas or Engineering Sector:

Job Title: Cost / Project Engineer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility for business proposals/tender preparation activities;
Preparation of quotations, tenders, and other business proposals.
Provide post-order management execution support to the business development team, with associated cross-departmental liaisons with the Production and Procurement teams
Provide technical oversight and support to procurement department with focus on sub-order processing, execution and delivery.
Provide Project management support for all company projects driven by the department, including project cost monitoring and post-award execution activities
Execution of job responsibilities at all times working in a professional and practical manner to ensure that results and change is delivered in a sustainable way.
Provide technical and project management support to the department in its prospecting activities within the Oil & Gas Industry, with a view to discovering and convert available opportunities to viable business transactions for the company.
Job Requirements

Minimum of First Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
Breadth of experience across whole project and programme lifecycle. e.g. Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation/Commissioning.
Good working knowledge of project costing with relevant experience
Understand the inter-relationship between time cost and commercial aspects of the project life cycle.
Working knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD Software or other project modules
Proficient in the use of estimating, scheduling(Microsoft Project/ Primavera), programming and risk tools.
Ability to communicate well at all levels of management, produce monthly reports, to an agreed reporting cycle, to provision of intelligent information.
Preference:

COREN certified
PMP certified
3 -5 work experience
Male and less than 40 years of age.
